I spent years fighting against systems that silenced me as a leader in public education.

I pushed back in staff meetings, at conferences, in education systems, and behind closed doors—calling out discrimination that harmed the very people they claimed to serve.

And like so many neurodivergent, outspoken, justice-driven professionals, I was labeled too loud. Too much. Too intense. Too idealistic.
